Witch Cauldron Centerpiece for a Halloween Party
While scrolling through Pinterest the other day, I saw a cute witch's cauldron wreath go by. It inspired me to create a centerpiece with a similar theme for Little Jo's upcoming Halloween party, but instead of using a wreath, I used a big plastic cauldron as the base.
I started with an 8" plastic witch's cauldron, and filled it with large chunks of foam.
To hide the white foam in case it showed through, I covered it with a bit of lime green mesh ribbon.
I picked up two awesome witch's leg picks at Michaels and put them right in the center.
To create the bubbles of the witch's brew, I got some lime green Christmas ornaments and removed the silver tops.
Then I used a hot glue gun to attach the "bubbles" all over the cauldron, tucking them in around the legs.
I continued gluing the ornaments to the cauldron and to each other to make them look like bubbles coming out of the cauldron.
To complete the look, I added some smaller green and gold ornaments to fill in the holes and then it was done! I love the quirky Halloween centerpiece this turned out to be.
