Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Favors and Invitations

Our friend is planning a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles birthday party for her little boy soon, and asked us for help with favors and invitations. I remember TMNT very well from my childhood, and always had a soft spot for them. So I was happy to help by creating some customizable TMNT party invitations and easy and fun turtle party favors.
To make it easy for you to DIY your own Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party, we put together a complete set of TMNT Party Printables which you'll find available for purchase at the end of this post. These digital files can be used to make so many cool items for your party!
Mini pizza boxes
The first thing I knew I wanted to incorporate was pizza boxes, since the turtles are such big fans of pizza. No Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party would be complete without pizza, so we used our white 4" and 5" mini pizza boxes everywhere we could.
Invitations
The first place we used these mini pizza boxes was for the invitations, which are always a good place to start planning a party! We covered the box tops with masks from our TMNT Pizza Box Printables and used the invitation printable from the same set as an insert inside. We used these printables with the 4" boxes. Perfect!
Party food
Next up was party food. This was an easy one, because our 5" mini pizza boxes just so happen to be the perfect size to hold a Red Baron Singles mini pizza.
We added the 5" version of the mask labels to the top of the box and printed the 5" pizza image onto sticker paper and stuck it inside the lid. Let me tell you, the kids went nuts when we served these mini TMNT pizzas!
Party favors
The boxes wouldn't be big enough for all of the party favors my friend had planned, so we decided to have some larger paper bags as well. We decorated plain green bags with coordinating TMNT Favor Bags Printables (also available at the end of this post), and stuffed them with goodies.
To give some variety to the favors and accommodate all tastes, we thought we'd mix things up by making more colors than the traditional four characters. We actually have 15 different color choices, including some pastels. The pink mask was definitely the crowd favorite.
Thank you gift
For the final "Thank You" gift as the kids left, we used more 4" mini pizza boxes. We decorated them with "Thanks, Dude!" inserts that are also included in our TMNT Pizza Box printables set. The birthday boy signed the inserts before we put them in the box lid. We tucked a yummy chocolate chip cookie in the box, and all was well in the TMNT world.

When printing the pizza box tops, do they print just in green or could I print just the mask and mouth part without the green? Thank you! They are super cute!
Lynette, the box stickers pages include the green box as well as the mask, so that you can cut the whole thing out to put on the box. However, if you don't want the green portion, you could trim that part off of the printout before applying the mask to whatever surface you've got. Take a look at this picture of the template pages to see how they would look when printed out.
