Target Gumball Machine for St. Patrick's Day

One of the best Dollar Spot finds at Target is their cute little glass gumball machines. You have to be quick to grab one when they are in stock because they go fast! I picked one up recently and on the same shopping trip, I happened upon a bag of giant Lucky Charms marshmallows. The two items in my cart gave me a great idea for St. Patrick's Day decor.
I decided to add this cute gumball machine to my hot cocoa station, and I started by painting it with a basecoat of a bright green color. I applied the paint with a cosmetic sponge to get a nice even coat.
Then, to take it up a level for St. Patrick's Day, I added accents to match the Lucky Charms, choosing pink, blue, and yellow paints from the Multi-Surface line.
I painted each little raised button with a different color. So cute!
As my final touch, I used my Chalkola paint marker to add some gold accents.
When the paint was all dry, I filled it with the puffy Lucky Charms marshmallows, and it was perfect for any visiting leprechaun!
