How to Set Up a Mimosa Bar at Your Party
Mimosas are wonderful to serve at a brunch, bridal shower, or any party early in the day. It may seem like the classic combo of orange juice and champagne is limited, but in fact you can mix it up and offer a few variations for your guests. I'd like to share a few tips with you for how to set up a mimosa bar at your next party.
Serve several different juices for your mimosas
Why limit yourself to just orange juice? It turns out that champagne tastes great when mixed with other juices too, like pineapple, mango-passion fruit, or cran-raspberry. Offer your guests choices so they can concoct a mimosa that suits their tastes.
Print a Mimosa Bar sign and labels for the juices
To make sure your guests know that they can help themselves to the spread, be sure to add a "Mimosa Bar" sign and clearly label all the juices. We've made this extra easy for you with our free Mimosa Bar printable sign and labels.
Start with our Mimosa Bar sign, which you can print onto cardstock and stick to the wall, or put in an 8"x8" frame for an extra fancy touch.
The printables set also includes some juice labels that are ready to cut out and hang onto carafes of juice. They all feature the same watercolor design as the sign, which matches perfectly with the light and easy feel of a mimosa.
Decorate the mimosa bar with fruit and flowers
A bowl full of oranges and a few vases of flowers are exactly what you need to add some charming decor to your mimosa bar. You can also use the blank watercolor circles in our printable set to create a cute banner across the table.
Mobilize your mimosa bar on a cart
Make it extra easy to move your mimosa bar if needed by setting it up on a bar cart. This provides a dedicated place for the drink supplies, and the bottom shelf will work great for storing all the champagne glasses.
If your bar cart doesn't happen to match the look you want for your light-and-airy mimosa bar, remember you can quickly dress it up with some Con-Tact paper. Adding a light marble pattern is a great temporary solution that also has the added benefit of protecting your bar card from sticky juice spills.
Serving mimosas from your mimosa bar
With your champagne on ice, your juices labeled, and plenty of glasses on hand, your mimosa bar is open for business and your guests can help themselves. Everyone is sure to have fun choosing the juice (or juices!) to mix with champagne for their custom mimosas.
