I love exploring unique and modern color themes for Easter. With a cool new color palette, even the most ordinary Easter decoration can become extraordinary. This year, I decided to play around with neon pastel colors, and painted some modern designs on some ordinary wooden egg cups.
I started by painting the inside of each cup with a different color. What a dramatic touch!
Then, to give the cups a mod look, I taped off some geometric triangles of random shapes and sizes, and painted the shapes with contrasting neon pastel colors.
I added some wooden eggs that I painted in the same solid colors and it was good to go. I love how such a simple technique can make such a fun home decor piece for Easter.
