Mini Grilled Cheese and Soup Appetizers
Welcome to your appetizer course in our "Home for the Holidays" blog hop. We've partnered with some of our blogging friends to give you some ideas of what to serve for the holidays this year. Traditions are great, but we like to try at least one new recipe or idea each year to celebrate. So, let's dive right in to our appetizer, which is a classic idea that we've made extra fun by making it's tiny!
We made individual appetizers that are perfect if you are having a small, pandemic-friendly gathering. Individual dishes means no one has to share utensils or serving dishes. We made tiny grilled cheese sandwiches and paired them with mini soup crocks full of tomato basil soup. Served on a tiny wooden charcuterie or cutting boards, it's the perfect appetizer. There's JUST enough soup to dip these tiny grilled cheese sandwiches. (We made them with cocktail bread slices, but you can also use regular sandwich bread and just cut it into small squares.) That's it! Cooking is done!
