Fourth of July Party Favors for Kids
We've come up with a fun and unique idea for Fourth of July party favors that are inexpensive, easy to assemble, and suitable for kids and adults alike. Our "Snap Crackle Pop" favors are stuffed with firewords and candy... how can you go wrong?
These Independence Day favors come together quickly with our free downloadable Fourth of July "Snap Crackle Pop" bag tags. This printable includes 4" wide and 5" wide versions to accommodate different bag sizes, so print whichever size you need for your bags.
I used flat, resealable 5"x10" clear plastic bags, which had plenty of room for the treats I want to put inside. I printed a bunch of the 5" wide bag tags onto white cardstock.
Time to stuff the bags with goodies that keep in with the "Snap, Crackle, Pop" theme. For the "Snap", I added two boxes of snap pops.
The "Crackle" comes from a traditional box of sparklers.
And the "Pop" came from a pair of Blow Pops. I found a set of patriotic Blow Pops that gave me all the right colors, and I taped two together so they would stay nicely inside the treat bag.
Everything was a little wobbly in the bag, so to give the bag a bit more stability and keep everything in its place, I cut a piece of card stock slightly smaller than the width and height of the bag.
Then I carefully slide the cardstock in behind the treats, and sealed the bag shut. This extra card stiffened the bag up, and also added a fun pop of background color.
To finish off the favors, I used a paper trimmer to cut out the bag tags I had printed.
Then I folded them in half right down the middle.
After placing the tag over the top end of the bag, one staple was all it took to hold it in place.
These "Snap Crackle Pop" favors for the Fourth of July are so cute!
And since they were simple and inexpensive to make, it's easy to make a bunch of these patriotic toy favors to hand out to the neighborhood kids, classroom students, or guests at any summer event.
