EOS Christmas Cards with Rudolph the Reindeer
Two challenges always face me at Christmas every year — finding fun and quirky Christmas cards, and finding small gifts for my friends' kids. This year I found a way to meet both challenges with a single project idea! I designed Rudolph the Reindeer Christmas cards that can be sent on their own, or turned into a mini gift with the addition of an EOS lip balm sphere.
The first step is to print out the cards. Just download our free printable Rudolph the Reindeer Christmas Cards template, and print it onto regular white cardstock.
Then use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut out the cards.
At this point, you can actually stop and be done if you want. The cards are cute enough as they are, and you can pop them into a 4x6 envelope or just write on the back and use them as postcards.
But to make them super cute, and more of a gift, it's time for the EOS. Any flavor that comes in a red sphere will work. I used EOS lip balm spheres in Summer Fruit which are a nice bright red.
To make room for the EOS, use a craft knife to carefully cut out Rudolph's nose.
The hole that's left is just the right size for an EOS sphere!
Unscrew the EOS to remove the cap...
...stick the balm half under the card and through the hole...
...then just screw the cap back on to hold it in place!
And just like that, you have an adorable handmade Christmas card that's a perfect gift for teachers, classmates, neighbors, co-workers, or anyone whom you want to give a little something special for the holidays.
