Mini Cake Stand Easter Dinner Party Favors
This year, I am hosting Easter at my house, and I wanted to make something simple yet special for my family members so that each had an Easter treat to take home. I just wanted a tiny, sweet, Easter treat for each place setting, and the more adorable the better. I found the perfect inspiration when I spotted some mini plastic domed cake stands at Michaels.
To add a touch of Easter decoration to the cake stands, I reached for some Easter-themed stickers. A little bunny was all each dome needed to complete the look!
Then I made some faux grass by tinting shredded coconut with green food coloring. This is easy to make — just dump coconut in a plastic bag with a few drops of green food coloring and shake it up. (If the coconut is too wet when you're done, just spread it on a baking sheet and dry in a low oven.) I sprinkled a little pile of coconut grass on each cake stand, and topped it with a few tiny, candy-coated chocolate eggs.
This is such a simple little Easter treat that looks cute on the dining room table.
