Colored Jingle Bells for Crafts
What's more fun than jingle bells when decorating at Christmas? There are tons of sizes available, but colors are far more limited. If you've got a modern Christmas color palette, you might have trouble finding brightly colored jingle bells to match.
Fortunately, it's easy to create custom-colored jingle bells with nail polish, something you've probably already got at home. Nail polish is ideal because it comes in true metallic finishes, dries quickly, sticks very well to metal, and comes with a built-in brush so you can get started right away.
All you have to do is brush nail polish onto an ordinary jingle bell and let it dry. It really is that simple!
Once the paint dries on your custom-colored jingle bells, the uses in your Christmas decor are endless. I like to use them to add a little sparkle to my Christmas gifts wrapping.
They look equally festive strung as ornaments on the tree, especially in a modern color palette.
You could even thread them onto a thin headband to create an extra-festive fashion statement perfect for your holiday party.
And for the simplest decoration of all, just fill a wooden bowl with a variety of colors of jingle bells and set them out for a perfect pop of color in your Christmas decor.
