Ceiling Fan for Above Bunk Beds
For a long time, my daughter MiniMe has wanted a ceiling fan in her room. However, McGeeky and I have always said no, because she has bunk beds and we worried about her head being so close to the spinning fan blades.
And then when she got a pet bird on her last birthday, we were sure that a ceiling fan would be nowhere in her future, since they are way too dangerous for birds. But then we found out about The Anderson fan from Stile. Its blades are fully enclosed!
Installing this fan was a breeze (pun intended!), and the included remote control makes it super easy to turn on and off. I am amazed with how much bright light it gives off, and the surprisingly powerful breeze from such a compact fan.
We also really enjoy the look and appeal of the fixture, as it is such a unique ceiling fan and stands out above the bed. The piece adds such an interesting design style to the bedroom, along with the obvious benefits of air circulation without exposed blades and again, that amazing bright light!
The Anderson fan's enclosed blades make it such a relief for us as parents, and for MiniMe as a bird owner. The room is cooler now with the circulating air, and the bird can fly freely without us worrying about him getting hurt.
The ceiling fan was also the perfect size fixture for the project. While some of the other options we looked at were small and cheap, or just too large for MiniMe's room, this ceiling fan was just right. It is the perfect shape for her bunk bed size and it sits high enough that my little one won't hit her head in the morning.
Chica liked this fan so much she installed one in the guest room she's renovating. It was in desperate need of an update, and the gorgeous and modern style of the Anderson was just the ticket. What a perfect starting point on modernizing the room! Stay tuned for more on that soon.
This product was given to me by Stile for review, but the opinions expressed are my own.

Where can I buy this
Regan, the Anderson Fan by Stile is no longer available, but we found a similar enclosed-blade fan available at Home Depot.
What is the price of this fan? I'd like to buy one.
Vikas, it looks like the Anderson model is not currently available for purchase, but here is another similar enclosed-blade fans available at Home Depot.
I have a 7yr old daughter with 2 parakeets and a bunk bed. I knew immediately that this was what I was looking for! Thank you for the suggestion!
