Back to School Treat Bags

It's hard to believe the summer is almost and the kids will be back to school in no time! My niece is pretty excited to start 3rd grade, and I thought I'd add to her excitement with some snacks she can share with her friends the first week. Since I love making snacks as cute as possible, I made a cute Back to School bag tag to decorate them with.
Our End of School Year bag tags were such a hit with you guys that I figured my Back to School version should match, with the chalkboard pattern and fun message. And as usual, our bag tags start with a free pattern. Just download our Back to School bag tag template to make your own cute favors for kids.
You've seen us do bag tags before, and we love them because they are such a quick and easy way to make a treat look special. Like the others, this bag tag is perfectly sized to fit on a standard brown paper lunch bag, and can be filled with popcorn, candy, or toys.
Print the template onto some white card stock, then cut out the tags. There will be two tags printed on each sheet. Fold the tags in half down the middle.
Even at this point, the tags are pretty cute on their own, sitting on the desk like little signs. You could easily use these as a sweet little card for teachers to put on students' desks on the first day of school, perhaps with a little note inside.
To complete the bags, simply fill them with whatever snack you've got, fold the top edge over, add the tag, and staple it all together. And that's it!
I wish my teachers had given me snacks like this when I started each year of school, don't you?
