Review of Hoover's ONEPWR Cordless Vacuums
I hate to clean, so anytime I can find a tool that makes it easier and more convenient, I'm all for it. So when Hoover asked us to try out a couple products from their new ONEPWR line of battery-operated vacuums, we quickly agreed. Just the very idea of not having to drag a cord around got me so excited to try them.
ONEPWR Evolve Pet cordless upright vacuum
I started with the Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet cordless upright vacuum, which claimed to be lightweight, powerful, and great at picking up pet hair. Win-win-win!
And boy, was it lightweight! At 50% of the weight of most stick vacs, it was so easy to carry that I almost didn't think it would be powerful.
Oh, but it WAS powerful. This vacuum has such incredible suction that it pulled so much dirt out of the rug in my foyer that I was actually a little embarrassed. It did a great job of grabbing the hair that my dog Charlie so carelessly leaves all around the house. And with that huge dirt cup, the Evolve eliminates the need for repeated trips to the trash can to dump the collected dust.
With settings for carpet, solid floors, or multi-surface, I was able to vacuum all the floors in the house with just one tool. And the antimicrobial brush roll and pet filter help prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria, which is great for the multiple pets in our house.
And it handles like a dream, too, darting and turning around furniture with the agility of an IKEA cart.
Superior cleaning and ease of use aside, my favorite part about this vacuum is the fact that it runs on batteries. That means — are you ready for this — you can vacuum the entire house without having to stop and move the cord to a new plug for every room!
ONEPWR Dust Chaser Cordless Handheld Vacuum
While I was busy vacuuming my floors, Jo was trying out the ONEPWR Dust Chaser cordless handheld vacuum. The long nozzle makes it great for cleaning tight spaces, and the detachable upholstery tool works great on fabric.
Jo's daughter made quick use of the upholstery attachment to tackle the cat hair covering their outdoor patio furniture. The cordless nature of the Dust Chaser makes it super easy to grab for quick clean-ups.
Not to be outdone by her sister, Jo's other daughter saw the perfect opportunity to use the nozzle end for cleaning out pesky seeds from her pet bird's cage. With a 30-minute runtime on a single charge, there was plenty of power left for completing both chores.
The dual filtration and HEPA Media help this vac capture 99.97% of dust, pet dander and allergens. This is a great way to keep the birdcage clean, the bird healthy, and the kids smiling.
ONEPWR battery system
All the ONEPWR cleaning products work beautifully together with the ONEPWR batteries, which are interchangeable and can be used on all the tools. You just grab any battery and put it in any of the ONEPWR tools, and you're good to go.
I especially like the convenience of the ONEPWR Dual Bay Battery Charger, which makes it even easier to charge multiple batteries. I always have one ready to go whenever I need to clean. (Wait a minute... there goes my excuse not to clean!)
Having multiple batteries that all work in the same vacuum is great for big jobs, when you need extra power. And I'm telling ya, not having to drag those cords around is game changing!
