With the current COVID situation we're living in, social distancing is unfortunately becoming a normal way of life. Jo and I are really feeling a disconnect with our neighbors and friends, so we decided to make them a fun little gift to show that we really miss hanging out. The fall season made it an easy decision to create mini s'mores kits, which we packaged in sweet little boxes with adorable labels.

We designed these mini s'mores kits fit perfectly in our exclusive 5" mini pizza boxes, available in kraft or white, that we sell on Amazon.

Inside each box, we placed two mini Hershey's bars, along with four large marshmallows tucked into a 3"x6" zip-top bag.

Then I carefully cut some Honey Maid graham crazkers in half (gentle sawing with a bread knife worked a lot better than trying to break them!) and tucked four squares into a 3"x4" zip-top bag.

To provide the heat source for making s'mores, we added a tiny unscented tealight candle and a white matchbook. To make the matchbook more adorable, we added a little flame sticker (see the printable below) to the front. So cute!

As a final touch, we trimmed some bamboo skewers down to size and added two to the box. With that, you've got everything you need to make two s'mores!

With the insides done, let's talk about that printable! I designed a super cute set of labels to go on the box to turn this kit into a thoughtful gift. You can download our free "Hang Out S'more" printables and print them onto standard 8.5" x 11" sticker paper.

Along with those little flames that we already used on the matchbooks, the printable also includes some blank panels perfect for adding a custom gift message.

This sticker fits perfectly inside the top of the box.

To hold the box closed (and add a cute decorative touch!) we created coordinating strips that we simply wrapped around the box and stuck in place.

The final touch was to add the main label to the top of the box.

These little gift boxes are perfect to tuck into a neighbor's mailbox or leave on the porch, as a thoughtful way to show you're still thinking about them, even if you can't spend time with them these days.
